ACEE, Quebec&#8217;s association of student entrepreneur clubs, was looking for a memorable way to mark its 30th anniversary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We wanted to highlight the members&#8217; stories, the people who had lived the experience [&#8230;] We wanted to communicate that story and offer us people who were capable of scripting the message, shooting it and broadcasting it,&#8221; explains Laurence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a mission to help students develop their entrepreneurial potential, ACEE needed a video agency that would share its project, and Studios Machiavel was the ideal partner to accompany them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Watch Laurence&#8217;s video testimonial!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6W40T97ZtHo?si=ZE2onAMJtmP3e4xD&#038;cc_lang_pref=fr-ca&#038;cc_load_policy=1\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>The challenge: Conveying the emotion of the moment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>ACEE&#8217;s main challenge was to capture the emotions of their activities in the best possible way to attract future participants to their events. The team wanted to emphasize the authenticity of the experience, and for their first assignment, they chose to do so in the form of a podcast. <\/p>\n\n<p>However, being an NPO with only 6 employees, ACEE didn&#8217;t have the in-house resources to create a professional video. And then we realized that Machiavelli was the right partner to fill that gap.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>The solution: Creative complicity and phenomenal results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>&#8220;Right from the start, I felt that the mandate was ours to collaborate on. I sensed that both parties had a vested interest in delivering the best possible result, and that&#8217;s what elevated them above the other possibilities we had. One of the first things I noticed, too, was that instead of proposing options, we asked questions,&#8221; explains Laurence.<\/p>\n\n<p>A passionate team, you can feel it! Our approach, centered on our customers&#8217; ambitions, gives us a deep understanding of the project, and this is what Laurence felt throughout the mandate. From conception to publication of the podcast, our production team took the reins of the project as if it were our own!  <\/p>\n\n<p>Laurence recalls another example where we exceeded her team&#8217;s expectations, when creating a promotional video for <a href=\"https:\/\/acee.qc.ca\/clq\/\">their annual CLQ event<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"ACEE - CLQ\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/885702720?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Our promotional video for the 2023 edition of the annual CLQ event!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>&#8220;The challenge was to mix real images with 2D <em>motion design<\/em>. It was just in our brains for a long time, then there was a moment when we projected it onto the big screen for the first time. The effect we felt at that moment was indescribable. You could feel the pride, the sense that our vision had really been executed to perfection. The result was phenomenal and showed the very best of ACEE,&#8221; enthuses Laurence.    <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>The results: An immortalized impact<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The videos created by our production company have had a very positive impact on ACEE&#8217;s social networks. In particular, the CLQ 2023 <em>recap <\/em> video performed superbly on their page! <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s our most popular publication of the year, both in terms of likes and comments. Here, in the comments, it&#8217;s a lot of people who recognize themselves, who see themselves in the video,&#8221; shares Laurence.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Recap \u00c9v\u00e8nement CLQ de l&#039;ACEE du Qu\u00e9bec\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/926373157?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>Reactions from participants were extremely positive, and the video will remain a memory they&#8217;ll treasure for years to come! Laurence says: &#8220;It&#8217;s sometimes said that a picture is worth 1,000 words, but in this case, a video is worth even more than that. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>Conclusion: An unforgettable experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The collaboration between ACEE and Studios Machiavel was a success. The recap videos showcased the vibrant energy of the event, deepened the participants&#8217; experience and will also help promote their future initiatives! <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;If I had to sum up Machiavelli in three words, I&#8217;d say: idea made accessible, because you don&#8217;t feel you&#8217;re dreaming too big. When you talk to them, everything is achievable, everything is accessible.
